A personification of the four elements: air, water, earth, and fire. As a model for each I took significant women in my life: my sister, my best friend from college, my mother, and myself. Another groundbreaking piece for me as an artist, this quilt marks my transition from naturalistic colors to vibrant impressionistic ones.
